Club Directors: We will be hosting a 16/18s Tournament on Jan. 3rd & a 12/14s on Feb.28. We will host the first 8 teams registered for each age level, for a total of 16 teams on that day. Please be aware that if you are a large club and enter multiple teams you could and probably will end up playing each other at some point. Click the link above for more information.

Once you know you want to register a team, email Cindy Dizon at cindydizon@hotmail.com. I will email back letting you know if you are in or on a wait list. You payment holds your spot once the club season is underway and you will need to send a check in within a week. (If you register before Dec. 1, you have until Dec. 7 to send a check in since club dues probably aren't being paid until then for your club.) If you don't send in a payment within a week or communicate with me, then your spot opens up to the next person on the wait list and you will be put on a wait list.

Tournaments

Each team will play in at least two tournaments a month, January - April. There will be one Power Leaguetourney on either Saturday or Sunday per month (Jan-April). The locations are posted on the CEVA website: www.columbiaempirevolleyball.com about a week before the tourney. The coaches will be emailed the location and then they communicate with you. However, you can also bookmark the site. The locations vary, the furthest south is Eugene/Springfield and the furthest north in Longview.

Power League's are important tournaments as each team receives a ranking #1-120 at the beginning of the season. You can move up or down in the rankings based on Power League performances. Teams who are ranked #1-16 will play in the Regional 2 day tournament in April.

The coaches then choose one friendship tournament a month to also enter in (Jan.-March). These tournaments will be in the local area (Portland Metro/Salem) and will be all day either Saturday or Sunday. Locations for these tournaments will be on the website at the beginning of the season. We typically don't have a friendship tournament in April since there is Power League and Regionals in the same month.

At this time, the 14s and 18s will be also attending one overnight tourney out of our region.

If a team chooses to travel to additional tournaments, then additional money will need to be collected for that. These tournaments will be decided by Dec. 15 and parents will be notified of additional costs and due dates.
